I believe that the value of photography lies with its inherent limitations. The way that it doesn’t afford the same unlimited freedoms born from working from a blank canvas like other visual mediums such as painting, means both that it aligns with the type of creativity that I work best with and also is uniquely well suited for many real world applications. 

 

I enjoy utilizing a combination of old and new techniques, gear, and concepts to create images that are distinctive while bringing into focus the intended goal of the work.
